The Rose
One of America's most respected and luxurious women's only treatment facilities, located only steps from Newport Beach.
Women come to The Rose on beautiful Newport Beach to recover in one of America's foremost and most luxurious gender specific treatment facilities.
All women that walk through our doors benefit from more than 23 years of treatment expertise and experience, and although women come to The Rose to build a new life of sobriety and serenity, and not for a vacation, the accommodation, facilities and amenities more closely resemble those of a 5 star resort than any variety of behavioral health facility.
As program house of Sober Living by the Sea, the center was ranked by Forbes magazine as one of America's top 10 most luxurious recovery centers.
Treatment begins with a comprehensive physical and psychiatric needs assessment and the development of an individualized and tailored treatment plan. The Rose offers a full continuum of care, from detox to aftercare, so clients needing medical detox assistance need not travel off site for a safe and comfortable withdrawal experience.
All doctors, nurses and therapists working at The Rose are licensed and experienced in the treatment of both addiction and co-occurring disorders. Clients suffering an addiction and a mental health issue, such as depression, anxiety or PTSD, will benefit from tailored and integrated treatment of both conditions.
The Benefits of Women's Only Treatment
Although The Rose accepts women over the age of 18, women come for help and recovery at all ages, from 18 to 60+ (with special therapeutic programming for mature adult women). The paths women take to addiction often differ from the routes taken by men. Women often struggle with trauma or abuse issues, care giving stresses, body image issues and others and benefit greatly when treatment groups can focus more completely on relevant and meaningful topics.
Women sometimes feel more comfortable revealing themselves completely in front of a group of women, rather than a co-ed group; more able to disclose difficult painful truths that if left unresolved, can lead to further abuse.
A Full Continuum of Care
Studies clearly show that the longer a person spends involved in addiction treatment, the better the eventual outcome, and so The Rose is proud to offer a full continuum of care that begins with initial evaluations and detox if needed, and includes:
- Primary residential care
- Continuing residential extended care
- Outpatient treatment
- Aftercare
- Alumni meetings
With over 23 years forming clinical relationships, The Rose can offer referrals to appropriate quality specialists, no matter what your particular need and no mater where in the country you may travel to after graduation from primary care.
Medicated Detox
Addiction doctors working at The Rose will use medications as necessary and appropriate to ease the discomforts of the withdrawal process, and to improve the likelihood of long term success. Two commonly used medications include Suboxone (for opiates) and Vivitrol (for alcohol).
Accommodation
Women staying at The Rose will stay in a newly built 3 story home, steps from the surf on Newport Beach. The environment was designed for tranquility and complete privacy, and the secluded location further enhances our commitment to confidentiality of care.
We treat successful professional women and celebrities with frequency and understand the need for privacy; and ensure that the accommodations are maintained at a very high standard, for guests accustomed to finer things.
